BUMPY RIDE: Bill Walters, who defaulted on $100 million in loans from Denver’s Silverado Savings & Loan, promised his wife a Bentley, but it didn’t work out. . . . Walters, once a business partner of President Bush’s son, Neil, now lives in Newport Beach. He faces a hearing today on a Santa Ana bankruptcy court trustee’s charges that he hid assets by listing them in his wife’s name. Jacqueline Walters says in court documents that she did get a Rolls-Royce, Ferrari and property as part of her 1986 prenuptial agreement. But when the Bentley transfer developed a snag, Walters bought her two Mercedes-Benzes instead.
