The Region : Candidates Forum Planned
A candidates forum for the 1st District Board of Supervisors race will be sponsored by the East Valleys Organization at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Nativity Catholic Church, 3743 N. Tyler Ave., El Monte.
Candidates Charles M. Calderon, Sarah Flores, Gloria Molina and Art Torres will be questioned on environmental issues, schools, drugs, crime and health care, an organization spokesman said.
