PORT HUENEME : House Sprayed in Drive-By Shooting
A Port Hueneme house was showered with bullets in an early Saturday drive-by shooting, police said.
No one at the residence in the 700 block of Forest Loop was injured in the incident, which occurred shortly after 1 a.m.
Port Hueneme Police Officer Ron Burns said gunshots from a pistol and shotgun pierced the front windows and walls of the house and jolted awake homeowner Thomas Nigma and his two sons, ages 10 and 16, who were sleeping in back bedrooms.
Numerous shotgun shells were found at the scene, Burns said.
