Aid Sought for Young Anglers

Volunteers are needed to assist in the Irvine Lake-Easter Seals disabled children’s fishing day Jan. 25 at Irvine Lake.

A lake spokesman said about 250 children are expected and that “double trout plants” of fish to 10 pounds will be made to help assure their success. Hours will be from 7 a.m. to about 1 p.m., after which fishing will be free to those helping. For details, call (714) 649-2991.
