Porsche Recalls Cars: Porsche Cars North America Inc. recalled 2,451 of its 911 Carrera 2 and Carrera 4 models because a trunk lid may fail to lock properly. The company said the forward trunk lid’s safety latch has a defect that could cause the lid to fly up in front of the driver. No accidents related to the problem have been reported, the Reno-based company said. Owners will be notified by mail and repairs will be performed for free.
