U.S. Team Flies to Hanoi for Possible MIA Remains

BANGKOK, Thailand —
U.S. military officials flew to Hanoi on Wednesday to retrieve 10 sets of remains that Vietnam says may be those of missing American soldiers.
The remains will be sent to Army laboratories in Honolulu for analysis, said James Williams, the U.S. Embassy spokesman in Bangkok. The Pentagon lists 2,289 Americans as missing in action from the Vietnam War.
