LA HABRA : Campaign Opens for First City Motto

Share

The city clerk is now accepting written entries for a city motto.

Mayor John C. Holmberg decided on establishing a motto as one of his goals for the year. The city, which was incorporated in 1925, has never had a motto.

There are no limits on its length and no specific guidelines on content. The motto campaign is open to anyone, including those who are not residents of La Habra.

Entries can be mailed to City Clerk, P.O. Box 337, La Habra, Calif. 90633. The winner will be announced in April.
