STATE : 2 to Split Lotto’s $38.4 Million

Two tickets had all six numbers drawn in Wednesday night’s “Lotto 6-53” game and split the $38.4-million jackpot, California Lottery officials said today.

The winning tickets were purchased in Castro Valley and Tustin.

There were six tickets with five numbers plus the bonus number, each winning $184,592. The tickets were purchased in San Francisco, San Diego, Canyon Country, Costa Mesa, Maywood and Long Beach and split a prize pool of $1.1 million.

There were 290 tickets with five of six numbers, each winning $3,819; 16,480 tickets with four of six numbers, worth $61 each, and 319,025 tickets with three of six numbers, each winning an automatic $5.
