U.S. Team to Be Featured at Invitational
Members of the U.S. rhythmic gymnastics team will be featured in the Los Angeles School of Gymnastics’ eighth annual invitational at 2 p.m. Sunday at Veterans Memorial Auditorium, 4117 Overland Ave., Culver City.
The U.S. team, led by Jennifer Haase and Polina Friedman, is preparing for the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona. It is coached by Alla Svirsky.
Other teams entered in the competition are from Miami, San Francisco, Palos Verdes Peninsula, San Pedro and Los Angeles.
