Turner Company Congratulates CNN: An advertisement commending CNN for Persian Gulf War coverage is scheduled to appear in this week’s issue of Satellite TV Week magazine, a publication for home satellite dish owners. The ad was placed by sister company Turner Home Satellite, which is owned by Turner Broadcasting System. The ad pictures Defense Secretary Dick Cheney with the comment he made last week: “The best reporting that I’ve seen on what transpired in Baghdad was on CNN.”
