Two Newspapers

Both The Times and San Diego Brand X now have done stories on the new Channel 39 show with Roger Hedgecock, and it is easy to see the difference in the two newspapers.

San Diego Brand X only stated that Mr. Hedgecock was “convicted in October, 1985” of 13 felony counts and nothing else, while the L.A. Times told the whole story, right down to the fact that “a clean criminal record” is right around the corner.

The facts are once again clear: Brand X works under the idea that it can harangue and tell half-truths under the poetic-license rule called Absence of Malice.
