Last spring, as I rushed into the schoolyard in an attempt to whisk my son off to the orthodontist, he was accosted by a playmate who had never seen me. “Justin! Your mother is brown!” My guy got this incredulous are-you-stoned-or-just-stupid? look on his face and replied, “We have all the colors.”
