Katrin Dorre of Germany took the lead with 2 1/2 miles remaining and won the Osaka, Japan, International Ladies Marathon for the second time.
Dorre, the 1988 Olympic bronze medalist, was timed in 2:27:43. Yuko Arimori of Japan, running her second marathon, finished second in 2:28:01.
