Hilton Hotels to Again Seek Casino License: Rebuffed by regulators six years ago when it tried to open an Atlantic City, N.J., casino, Hilton said it wants to try again. William Lebo, Hilton general counsel, said the troubled Trump Castle casino is a prospect. The Beverly Hills-based chain said it plans to file an application with the New Jersey Casino Control Commission for a license to own a property, but it said it is not currently in any talks. The Castle’s owner, Donald J. Trump, said his casino was not on the auction block. Hilton was denied a casino license in 1985 because of questionable business dealings of three of its executives.
