Answering King’s Question

In response to “How Long America? How Long? Dr. King’s searing question still has not been answered” (editorial, Jan. 21):

How long, Los Angeles Times? How long?

How long will you continue to muddy the differences between civil rights and level playing fields for all races and both genders? How long will you ignore the intent of the late Dr. Martin Luther King’s “I have a dream” vision and the intent of the 1964 Civil Rights Act?

How long will you placate the self-appointed civil rights and immigration rights aristocracies?

How long will you confuse civil rights with racial--and gender--preferences?
