Share

There is good news and bad news on the trash front: There will be more frequent city collection for some businesses, but those that store their trash on city property such as alleyways will now have to pay for storage or move the bins onto their own property.

In a unanimous vote, the City Council on Tuesday night authorized trash collection six days a week for businesses that need it. It also unanimously approved a measure that will allow the city to impose a yet-to-be determined fee for the storage of trash on city property.
