The Cradle Network: It’s baby time at NBC News, where three of the network’s best-known female journalists are pregnant: “Today” co-anchor Deborah Norville, former “Sunday Today” co-anchor Maria Shriver and “Today” national correspondent Katherine Couric. Couric, who is married to Washington attorney Jay Monahan, is expecting her first child in July. She will substitute as co-anchor on “Today” when Norville, who expects her first child in March, goes on maternity leave. Norville is married to Swedish businessman Karl Wellner. Shriver, who left “Sunday Today” last year after the birth of her first child, Kathleen, continues to do specials for NBC News. Now, Shriver, whose next special airs Feb. 28, is expecting another child, due “sometime this summer,” an NBC spokesman said. Shriver lives in Los Angeles with her husband, actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
