OUT WITH THE OLD: Former Tustin Councilman John Kelly may have been overwhelmingly defeated at the polls last April, but his friends have not forgotten him. After hearing that he had been fined $1,825 for participating in an anti-abortion protest, they decided to hold a rummage sale this Saturday. “They don’t want to see . . . this judge pick my pockets like that,” said Kelly, 28. As a councilman, Kelly was known for calling council members twits and morons and taking up issues not normally a concern to city councils, like flag burning and gun control.
