Leggett Rejoins Raiders to Coach Defensive Line

Share

The Raiders announced Tuesday that former assistant coach Earl Leggett has rejoined the team as defensive line coach, the same position he held from 1980 to ‘88, before joining the Denver Broncos in ’89.

Leggett, 56, replaces defensive line coach Bill Urbanik, who remains with the team for the present but is said to be “contemplating other opportunities,” according to a Raider spokesman.

Leggett, known to be highly regarded by Raider defensive end Howie Long, returns to the team after two seasons as defensive line coach for the Broncos.
