A 12-screen, 2,950-seat theater complex was approved in concept Monday by the City Council after testimony by a mostly pro-theater crowd.
The council voted 4 to 0 to accept the environmental impact report and the general architectural design of the Edwards Cinema Plaza, which is proposed for the corner of Foothill Boulevard and B Street.

Mayor Jon Harry Blickenstaff just said: “Let’s go to the movies.”
