SURF’S GOOEY: Most Huntington Beach residents want an offshore oil unloading terminal removed (A1), but the State Lands Commission says don’t hold your breath. . . . A year after the American Trader oil spill, the commission says its study of possible alternatives to offshore terminals is likely to take two or three years. A commission exec says the study was ordered up “because of those concerns” of coastal residents about offshore oil platforms and terminals.
