Tisch Group Cuts Stakes in 2 Banks: CBS Inc. Chairman Laurence A. Tisch and his family--who have been accumulating stock in ailing banks since late 1989, hoping for a rebound--have cut their holdings in Bank of Boston Corp. to 8.4% of the outstanding shares from 9.9% and in Continental Bank Corp. of Chicago to 7.3% from 8.5%, according to filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The family also holds stock in such banking concerns as Equimark Corp., Baybanks Inc. and Shawmut National Corp.
