Barton Murder Trial

I find the Howard Barton murder trial very interesting (“ ‘Ruined My Whole Life,’ Realtor Says of Slaying,” Feb. 5). Barton is accused of murder in the death of Marco Sanchez.

In a videotaped interview that was shown at his trial, Barton stated that he fired the fatal shot at Sanchez when Sanchez “made a sudden move while his hands were out of sight.”

If a cop told that same story, the cop would be completely exonerated.
