Suicide Linked to War

VIENNA —
A 68-year-old Austrian woman shot and killed herself in front of the U.S. Embassy on Sunday in what police called a protest against the Gulf War. A spokesman said a note clutched in the unidentified woman’s hand cited the war as her motive.
