MADRID, Spain —
American sprinter Leroy Burrell set a world indoor best for 60 meters today, covering the distance in 6.40 seconds at a track and field meet in Madrid’s Sports Palace.
Burrell broke the mark of 6.50 set in 1987 by fellow American Lee McRae.
