Video Displays Allegedly Dumped on Market: The U.S. Commerce Department accused Japanese companies, including Sharp Corp. and Toshiba Corp., of selling electronics below fair market value, an unfair trade practice. The allegation involves displays used for laptop computers. The department, whose finding is preliminary, said Sharp must increase video-display prices by 4.6%, Toshiba by 1.7% and other companies by an average of 2.3%.
