Defending Newman’s Song

Share

In response to Feb. 9 letter writer Llewellyn Moses, who was viciously critical of Randy Newman and his anti-war song, “Lines in the Sand”: I would like to suggest that it is Moses who is out of line in referring to Newman as “anti-American.” It is, instead, “anti-American” to deny another American his or her opinion.

What if Saddam Hussein also believes as Moses does--e.g., “My country right or wrong”?
