A community meeting for public comment on the proposed Devil’s Gate Multi-Use Project, a $90-million rehabilitation program for 250 acres in Pasadena’s Arroyo Seco, is scheduled for Tuesday.

Possible parts of the project include restoring the Devil’s Gate Dam, building pedestrian and horse trails, installing soccer fields and a 25-acre lake, and reestablishing through the arroyo a section of the Rim of the Valley Trail, a horse trail from Malibu to Palm Springs.

The project is sponsored by Los Angeles County, the city of Pasadena, the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy, the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and the U.S. Forest Service.
