Freeze-Aid Phone Number Available: Growers, farm workers and business owners hurt by the devastating Christmas freeze can get information about state and federal assistance by calling a toll-free number. Starting today, those affected can call (800) 525-0321 to find out whom to contact in their local area for state and federal programs. The line will be staffed Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Spanish- and English-speaking operators will provide referrals.
