Galbraith on Bombing
People keep asking me what could have been done to prevent the war in the Persian Gulf. While I do have answers, I have come to understand that trying other options would never have worked.
Until the majority of our great nation, the majority of our beautiful world, accept into their very souls that war is never an option to resolve conflict, we will always resort to war. There are many win-win options that will work, for which patience is demanded. When war is forever given up as a possible solution for resolving conflicts, then we will see a reduction in violence throughout our society. In the meantime, we can work for a world that works for everyone.
