Covina Is Urged to Heed Thoreau

I wish I could remember who said, “That government is best, which governs least.” Perhaps one of your readers will be able to help me out because I would like to send the exact quotation to every member of our Covina City Council. They would do well to abide by the sentiment expressed in the quote.

By heeding that precept--uncomfortable as it might be for our City Council--they might be able to stay away from private property rights and the proposed city inspections of private homes before sale and apartments before rental.
