VENTURA : FBI Investigates Bank Robbery

The FBI is investigating a bank robbery at Security Pacific Bank in Ventura, said Gary Auer, head of the FBI’s Ventura office.
The robber used a note to demand the money from a teller at 1 p.m. Thursday, Auer said.
“He tried to hurry the teller up a little bit,” Auer said, “but he wasn’t obnoxious.”
The robber grabbed an undisclosed amount of money from the teller and fled in a small late-model car.
Auer said Thursday’s bank robbery is the sixth one in the county this year.
