KABC Joins the Marines: KABC Talkradio is bringing the war front to the home front today with a daylong broadcast from Camp Pendleton in Oceanside. The station says this is “the first and only time a live radio broadcast has been allowed” at the U.S. Marine base since the Persian Gulf War began. The programming will be hosted by KABC-AM (790) personalities Ken Minyard and Roger Barkley, Michael Jackson, David Viscott and Steve Edwards. The broadcast will focus on the impact of the Gulf War on life in and around Camp Pendleton.
