PLACENTIA : Motorcycle Driver Killed in Collision
A 27-year-old man was killed when the motorcycle he was driving collided at 10:59 a.m. Sunday with a car exiting from a restaurant parking lot, police said.
The motorcyclist was from Anaheim, but his name was not released pending notification of relatives. The victim was traveling south on Placentia Avenue, just past Nutwood Avenue, when a car pulled out of the Spoons Restaurant parking lot, Police Sgt. Jay Fricke said.
Police said the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet. The driver of the car apparently was not injured.
