Postwar Plans for the Gulf
It is often said that the thousands of Americans who died in Vietnam, died for nothing. Perhaps that tragic loss of life may have prevented a similar fate in the Gulf War.
If we learned one thing from Vietnam, it is to let the military fight a war, not the politicians.
