Egypt to Demand War Reparations

CAIRO —
Egypt will ask Iraq to pay reparations for revenue lost as a result of Baghdad’s invasion of Kuwait.
Information Minister Safwat Sharif said Monday after a Cabinet session that the request, based on U.N. resolutions calling on Iraq to pay reparations, will be sent to the Security Council.
