ALL IN FAVOR: Talk about strange bedfellows. Garden Grove Democrat Tom Umberg joined a fellow county assemblyman Thursday to introduce a resolution that passed by 67 to 0. OK, the motion merely honored President Bush and the armed forces for their Gulf War victory. But still. . . . Introducing the measure with Umberg was Gil Ferguson, a Newport Beach Republican who usually speaks about Democrats the way Bush speaks about the Iraqis.
