Ben Johnson, only two months into his comeback from a drug suspension, announced that he will retire after the 1992 Summer Olympics.
Ed Futerman, his legal adviser, and Kameel Azan, his manager, said they learned of Johnson’s decision when he announced it at a news conference in Seville, Spain, the day before the World Indoor Track and Field Championships.
