Apple to Unveil New Printers: Apple Computer Inc. says it will introduce the laser-quality Stylewriter printer today for $599--a cost so low that it may signal the end for the venerable dot matrix printer. The dot matrix’s clarity is unacceptable for most business purposes, but its inexpensive price--as compared to laser printers--has made it a mainstay for non-business users.
