Component Maker Reports $188,081 Profit

Diodes Inc., a Chatsworth producer of electronic components, reported a $188,081 profit for the eight months that ended Dec. 31, compared with a $78,601 loss in the comparable period a year earlier.

Diodes reported its results for eight months because it recently changed its fiscal year to end on Dec. 31 rather than April 30.

The profit in the latest eight-month period came on a 21% increase in Diodes’ revenue, to $10.1 million from $8.32 million a year earlier.
