New McProduct to Debut: McDonald’s Corp. plans to announce a new product today--either pizza or a lowfat hamburger, analysts say. While pizza would be a more dramatic shift for the chain, both items have been widely tested by McDonald’s and either would be in keeping with its strategy of stepping up its efforts to offer new items. Several analysts speculated that the Oak Brook, Ill.-based firm would begin nationwide sales of its quarter-pound McLean Deluxe burger, which has 310 calories and 29% fat, compared to 410 calories and 44% fat in its regular Quarter Pounder.
