Now the Republican is a candidate himself in next week’s special election for a county state Senate seat--to replace Seymour. Reed reports that he has had to advise two of his clients about how to make a contribution in the race. . . . The bad news? His clients want to give to one of his opponents, Assemblyman John R. Lewis.
