Question: What special privileges does the Costa Rican government extend visitors who wish to stay there at least four months a year?

Answer: To qualify for Costa Rico's special program, visitors must prove they have a minimum monthly income of $600. Those who qualify also get to import one automobile and one set of household goods duty-free. Long-term renters must show a guaranteed income of $1,000 per month. Q: Although we're not Mormon s , can we still visit the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints?

A: People of all religions are welcome and can take free tours and attend free events in Historic Temple Square, 50 W. N. Temple Square, Salt Lake City, Utah 84150. Q: What is the progress of the channel tunnel between England and France?

A: Construction is on schedule for opening in 1993. When completed, it will cut travel time between London and Paris from six to three hours. The actual tunnel trip will take 30 minutes.

Q: With fewer U.S. domestic airlines still flying, will we allow foreign carriers to fill the gap and operate between U.S. cities?

A: That has been discussed in official circles. Some government and airline officials have no objection as long as our airlines receive equal opportunities abroad. However, it may be quite some time before you see foreign lines flying U.S. routes.
