Banks Expect Writedowns on Brazil Loans: Bankers in New York said the Interagency County Exposure Review Committee is expected to require banks to write down a large percentage of their outstanding loans to Brazil, perhaps within a week. the committee is made up of membersof the Federal Reserve Board, the Office of the Controller of the Currency and the FederalDeposit Insurance Corp.
