EC Leaders Will Meet in April to Discuss Gulf

LUXEMBOURG —
European Community leaders will meet April 8 in Luxembourg for a special summit to discuss lessons of the Persian Gulf crisis and other international issues, the EC presidency said Thursday.
The summit was requested earlier this month by French Foreign Minister Roland Dumas, who said it would be unwise for EC leaders to wait until the regular EC summit in June to discuss the crisis.
