TEACHER AT THE TOP: Golden West College President Judith Valles (above) gets good marks from pupils in her lunchtime class of basic Spanish phrases (B1). So much so that she’s going to try to find time for more. . . . She says her original plan was to give the classes only for school employees who aren’t teachers themselves. “But some of the faculty heard about it, and now some of them want to take this course also, so I’ll try to work out time for a second series of classes,” she said.
