State Teachers Assn. Chooses New Officers

A longtime Orange County math and computer science teacher has been named president of the California Teachers Assn., the group announced in Los Angeles.

D. A. (Dell) Weber is teaching concurrently in the Anaheim Union High School District and Rancho Santiago Community College District in Santa Ana. He served the past five years as vice president of the association, and nine years as treasurer. He replaces Ed Foglia, a San Jose social studies teacher.

Also among the new officeholders are vice president Ron McPeck, a government and history teacher in the San Bernardino Unified School District, and Lois Tinson, a Baldwin Park Unified School District English teacher, who will be secretary-treasurer.
