Bernson Criticized on Waste Issues
Shame on Hal Bernson. Many of his 12th District constituents have received a copy of Bernson’s mailer asserting his concern for the environment and his purported attempts to protect it.
To quote: “Hal Bernson has led the fight to begin recycling and to explore new possibilities of disposing of refuse, like rail transfer to distant points.”
If Bernson is truly concerned about recycling, then why is his environmental campaign mailer not printed on recycled paper?
For that matter, why isn’t all of his campaign literature printed on recycled paper?
Of greater importance, how can Bernson believe that shifting Los Angeles’ refuse problem to a distant point is ecologically and environmentally sound?
