KDAY’s All Biz: The reported change of format to business news at KDAY-AM (1580), Los Angeles’ only all-rap station, apparently will take place late this week or early next week. The station may be silent for a few days while technical operations for the switchover are completed, then most likely will go back on the air with broadcasts from the Business Radio Network. The station’s new owner, Fred Sands, has been in meetings this week consummating the long-delayed $7.2 million purchase from Heritage Communications.
