Mazda Issues Recall Notice: Irvine-based Mazda Motor America has launched a voluntary recall campaign affecting all 9,980 Navajo sport utility vehicles produced between Aug. 6, 1990, and Jan. 22, 1991. Ford Motor Co. builds the Navajo for Mazda in Louisville, Ky. Mazda said the Navajos are being recalled to enable dealers to inspect the rear bumpers of all of the vehicles and the fuel tank heat shields of the 6,424 Navajos produced between Aug. 6 and Nov. 3, 1990.
